Dr. Gazzeri is a board-certified neurosurgeon. He did his neurosurgical training at Tor Vergata University Hospital in Rome, Italy, and a minimally invasive neurosurgery fellowship at the Prince of Wales Hospital in Sydney, Australia. His thesis project studied the technical notes and surgical outcome of endoscopic anterior approach to the lumbar spine for degenerative spinal diseases, which has been published in Minimally Invasive Neurosurgery journal.
Over the years, his research has focused on degenerative and traumatic lumbar spinal diseases. He has several publications in important journals and book chapters. He is not only an author but a reviewer for different neurosurgical journals such as World Neurosurgery, Clinical Neurology and Neurosurgery, and Plos One.
He is a recurrent invited speaker for national and international meetings and courses including the Italian Neurosurgical Society (SINCh). He also boasts numerous abstracts and presentations in international conferences (EANS – European Association of Neurosurgical Societies, CNS – Congress of Neurological Surgeons, NASS – North American Spine Society)
